Field Notes

Field Notes is a collection of thoughts, observations, and personal reflections on photography. Here, I explore the things that interest me beyond the technical side of taking pictures, how we see, what draws our attention, and how our relationship with familiar places can influence the photographs we make.

Some notes grow out of experiences in the field, others from conversations, questions, or simply spending time looking at photographs. There are no fixed themes or conclusions, just an opportunity to explore ideas and share some of what I learn along the way.
