Dolomites Autumn Fairytale

Come join us during this 6 day Dolomites Autumn Tour.

We are teaming up with Lofoten Tours for this amazing adventure through one of the most stunning area in Europe. This tour will visit the Drei Zinnen, Lago di Braies, Alpi di Siusi, Langkofel, Lago Imides, the St. Johann Church, Passo Rolle, Cenque Torri and many more – including some hidden gems! We will stay in wonderful hotels where we can relax between the hectic shooting schedule.

Itinerary

Day 1 – 4: 

We will pick you up at the airport of Munich no later than 12am. After hugging eachother it is time to start the drive to the Dolomites.  After a 4 hour drive we will arrive at our first hotel, in the charming village of Cortina. This will be our home for the first 3 nights.

 

                                                        

From our base in Cortina we will photograph numerous amazing places within a short drive from our hotel. All the famous spots; Lago di Braies, Tre Cime, Cenque Torri, Passo Giau as well as several unknown gems in this area. We will also visit the amazing rock pyramids of Ritten. This place is a must see!

Day 5, 6 & 7: 

The last 3 nights we are staying in Ortisei, one of the most charming villages in the Dolomites. Here we have a short drive to make it up to the legendary Alpe di Siusi mountain plateu. This area needs no introduction and is easily one of the most picturesque places in Europe. With a majestic backdrop, the peaks of Langkofel and Platkofel, there are endless possibilities for amazing shots!

 

Day 7: 

After breakfast it is time to drive everyone to the airport in Munich.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of photography is required?

All of ours tours, workshops and masterclasses are open to beginners as well as professionals. Our only criteria is that you have a great passion for photography, and have the energy and motivation to be on the go every day and night.

 

What should I bring ?

You have to be well equipped for all kinds of dramatic weather including rainfall. Bring comfortable, warm and waterproof outer layers such as Gore-tex.  A complete list of recommended clothes as well as camera gear will be provided upon registration. 

 

Will I experience snow or ice?

Maybe, the Dolomites are known for having sudden snowfalls, and if we are lucky we can have fresh snow on autumn covered trees.

 

What camera gear should I bring?

At the very least, bring your own camera, lenses, tripod and a laptop. A detailed list of recommendations will be provided upon registration. If you are considering upgrading or investing in new camear gear prior to the trip, feel free to ask us for advice.

Price: 3490 Euro (based on double occupancy - single room supplement is 800 EURO). 

Group Size: Maximum 10 participants

Registration deposit: 500 EURO (full payment required 60 days prior to the tour).

Photography Focus: Landscapes, mountain photography and creative compositions

Skill Level: Suitable for all experience levels, from enthusiastic beginners to advanced photographers

Physical Difficulty: Moderate. Most photography locations are easily accessible, but there will be some moderate hikes during the week. 

Accommodation: Comfortable hotels carefully selected for location and photographic access

Included:

Two professional photo guides, all tuition, post processing sessions, transportation and accommodation in hotels.

Not included:

Any travel services required arriving and departing at and from the starting location in Munich Airport.

Any private insurances, taxes, levies, immigration, duty and visa fees where applicable.

All meals and any personal items including alcoholic beverages, snacks, souvenirs and travel insurance.

Frank is a landscape photographer from Kristiansand, Norway. His work is inspired by the dramatic coastlines, mountains, and changing seasons. Drawn to light, texture, and atmosphere, he aims to create images that go beyond documenting specific locations. 

When he is not behind the camera, Frank works as a teacher. He is an extrovert who loves getting to know new people - as well as helping them developing their skills as photographers. 

Give Frank a guitar and you might even hear him sing.

Laura is a self-taught landscape photographer from Bavaria, Germany. She is mainly drawn to wild and raw destinations, but no matter where, it’s the changing light and pure encounter with the outdoors that fascinates her.

 

Through landscape photography she expresses her appreciation for nature and adventure, always seeking for bracing perspectives and unique light situations. Besides photography she studies Geography at the University of Bonn, Germany.
