Why Black & White Photography?

Black and white photography transforms the way we see the world. It highlights light, shadow, and texture, bringing out the dramatic contours of Lofoten’s rugged peaks. My infrared photography adds another dimension - turning blue skies nearly black and making the mountains appear even more striking.

The Collection

This gallery features my best Lofoten landscape photos from 2024, 2025 and 2026. The 2024 images were taken with a traditional camera and converted to black and white, while the rest were shot using an infrared camera. Can you spot the difference?
