About me
Frank Otto Pedersen

I’m a landscape photographer based in Kristiansand, Norway. Since 2013, I’ve specialized in capturing the natural world, though my background also includes portrait and architectural photography. I’m married to Karen, and together we have three children.
When I first picked up a camera, still learning the difference between shutter speed and aperture, I was drawn to the grandeur of starry skies, the northern lights, and towering mountain ranges.
But with each photo, each journey, and each passing year, I’ve grown increasingly fond of the quiet beauty - the weathered tree, the lone skerry, the fleeting moment before the light breaks through the fog.
I am a teacher by profession, and I have always enjoyed helping others learn and grow. That same passion naturally found its way into photography, where I enjoy guiding others to see more, slow down, and create images with intention.
Since 2022, I have worked as a freelance photo guide for This Way, a Dutch travel company, and Lofoten Tours. In 2027, I am excited to launch my own photography tours in collaboration with the German landscape photographer Laura Oppelt. Together, we focus on small groups, personal guidance, and creating memorable experiences in some of the world's most inspiring landscapes.
